How it started

Omar’s stage name was given to him by Vitamin who believes Omar does have the vibe of the real deal Count Dracula about him. It is pretty obvious when you see him move. He likes the uniqueness of B-Boying and the fact that you don’t need any expensive equipment to do it – just grit and determination to train hard.

He got into Breakin’ in 2000 by watching Hip Hop and Breakin’ clips. A year later, some friends decided to join him and they formed a local crew, calling themselves, Seasons of Style.

After moving to Europe, he joined MoonWalkers crew based in Germany. They took part in a lot of battles and jams in Europe. Here is a list of some of them:

He was the winner of 6 local 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 battles. He was also in the winning crew of some Crew vs Crew local battles.

In the recent years, the Count has been invited to be a judge in over 7 battles and has been teaching some dance workshops.

He joined the Imperial Steps after meeting Crazy Beni in a battle at the Trocadero centre. The two have since become friends.

I will continue to work hard in order to perfect my style and take it to another level. The ambition is to do more jams and possibly establishing my own classes. – The Count

Alongside his passion for break dancing, he studied to become a pharmacist, which he achieved in 2009.
