Breakin Bread has found a new home for live soul and funk and b-boying!!
We’re kicking off our residency at The Blues Kitchen with the BREAKIN BREAD XMAS PARTY on FRIDAY 10th DECEMBER.
After leaving the Jazz Cafe in late 2009, the Breakin Bread Crew has been looking for the ideal venue for live music and serious dancing and they have found it in the Blues Kitchen. Located on Camden High Street the Blues Kitchen is fast becoming one of London’s top specialist music venues.
Breakin Bread will be putting on a live band and hosting a different breakdance b-boy crew at each event.
On Friday 10th December, one of the UK’s top funk bands THE GRITS from Freestyle Records will be dropping some heavy grooves.
In the dance we’ve got one of London’s top b-boy crews IMPERIAL STEPS featuring Plan Zer0.
On the decks Breakin Bread founder SKEG is joined by JAZZMAN GERALD and they’ll be spinning SOUL, FUNK, 60’s JUKEBOX R&B/TITTYSHAKERS. Basically fantastic funky music to keep the dancefloor packed, all underpinned by heavy drums !!
